Diverse Literature Training Module

Problem: I based this training module on the rising demand for authentic, diverse literature in education. I wanted to provide educators with strategies for implementing diverse and multicultural literature in their curriculum.

Solution: Designed and developed an eLearning module for learners to be able to explain the need for diverse literature, identify strategies for teaching diverse literature, and apply those strategies in a lesson or unit plan. An overview video, two presentations, and a survey are provided. Learning activities include discussions, scenarios, and a lesson/unit plan project.
